How to enjoy scone?
Since our chef Herman tasted the authentic scones when he studied in the UK, he has been looking for the same taste in Bangkok. However the version in Thailand seems to be quite different from his memory, so he decided to re-create his ideal scones.
When it comes to scone, there are also other two main characters to make it right. Clotted cream and jam.
Probably due to the difficulty of producing clotted cream and challenge to store it, the scones in Bangkok tend to be served with butter, or sometimes soft whipped butter. Nevertheless, the creamy flavour will never be able to compare with clotted cream.
So, we try to create the clotted cream with our limit equipment and source of ingredients. After few attempts, we’ve found the recipe that we are satisfied to serve.
